You know what I like?  Cooking.

You know what I don't like? Reading a novel every time I want to use a recipe.

There is a proliferation of recipe sites where the prime mover seems to be content.  Not recipe content, mind you, just content.  The ingredients don't even start until you're 90% down the page, and until then it's all life story.

A couple of years ago I had an idea: I want a recipe site that's stripped down to the absolute bare minimum.  Ingredients, directions, and literally nothing else.  It's like the old family recipe - it comes on an index card with no nonsense, just the recipe.

I finally decided to just do it.  I now own, and very soon I'll be launching the site itself.  For an example, see my puttanesca recipe.

I want you to contribute!  The idea is for friends to share their favorite recipes in a no-nonsense way.  Just recipes, searchable, with no fluff, no ads, and a maximum of one picture.  OF FOOD.  Interested?  Let me know and I'll make you an author on the new site!
